BACKGROUND

The Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC), was created by and for members and operates as a member-owned 501(c)(6), not-for-profit entity. FS-ISAC serves as a bi-directional information and intelligence organization leading the financial services sector efforts to protect against and mitigate cyber and physical threats and incidents against member financial firms.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Support Specialist is an entry to mid-level position reporting to the Senior Director, Sales Enablement & Operations, focused on supporting the Business Development teams daily administrative needs to include vetting leads, managing data quality for business development accounts, sending sales collateral to internal stakeholders and external prospects, sales orders through DocuSign and business development projects as assigned. This position is critical to the success of business development and the growth of FS-ISAC.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Use sales platforms and open-source information to verify and update leads to make actionable.
  • Apply learning of the types of firms in financial sector to ensure accuracy of lead information.
  • Leverage marketing automation – HubSpot and Salesforce to drive 24-hour lead qualification.
  • Actively participate in strategy or tactics for lead generation campaigns as requested.
  • Actively participate in business development meetings, supporting team as needed.
  • Use salesforce reporting and dashboard reports to maintain quality of data.
  • Use DocuSign to support sending sales orders for membership or sponsorship.


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Salesforce.
  • Intermediate business writing skills to respond to lead inquiries as needed.
  • Desire to gain understanding of financial services and vertical markets in sector.
  • Self-starter with attention to detail (meet lead management goals with quality data).
  • Available for hybrid office and home office schedule.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • College degree or 2-4 years documented work experience in the field of business or sales.
  • Demonstrated (past work experience) knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft 365.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT
