BACKGROUND

The Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC), was created by and for members and operates as a member-driven 501(c)(6), not-for-profit entity. FS-ISAC serves as a bi-directional information and intelligence organization leading the financial services sector efforts to protect against and mitigate cyber and physical threats and incidents against member financial firms


POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated and charismatic inside sales representative to join our team. Responsibilities include converting qualified leads, generating new business with existing members, communicating with members, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You should be able to close sales and meet targets. To be successful as an inside sales representative you should be able to build instant rapport. A top inside sales representative should also be very competitive and a good listener. This position is critical to the success of business development and the growth of FS-ISAC.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Move firms through the sales cycle from lead to member. KPIs provided after hire.
  • Build relationships with prospects and schedule sales calls.
  • Manage sales pipeline in Salesforce, accurate representation of forecasting close dates.
  • Keep relevant notes and activities with prospects in Salesforce.
  • Handle upgrades and renewals as needed of existing members
  • Answering prospect questions and sending additional information via email
  • Actively participate in business development meetings, supporting teams as needed.
  • Use DocuSign to support sending sales orders for membership

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Use Salesforce to manage sales cycle; Microsoft Office 365 products use experience.
  • Easily build rapport with leads, prospects and staff, communicating competence and member value.
  • Demonstrate business acumen, follow sales process to accurately predict revenue.
  • Excellent business writing skills, ability to clearly articulate FS-ISAC brand and value.
  • Be an active listener and speak clearly when working with colleagues, members, prospects.
  • Independently identify potential problems; communicate with or elevate issues properly.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • College degree or 2-4 years documented work experience in the field of business or sales.
  • Demonstrated (past work experience) knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft 365.



WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position reports into Reston, VA headquarters and will work a hybrid office and home office schedule. The candidate must be able to meet the physical demands of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
