Background

Financial Data Exchange (FDX) is a non-profit financial industry organization dedicated to promoting and enhancing a common interoperable standard for securely sharing consumer financial data. Open to financial institutions, fintech companies, consumer advocacy groups, and other industry participants, FDX puts consumers in control of their personal financial data and facilitates the development, growth and industry-wide adoption of the FDX API’s operating framework. FDX is a subsidiary of FS-ISAC.

Position Summary

We are seeking a full time Administrative Assistant. This position will provide administrative support to the Managing Director and other Director level members of the executive team.

Essential Functions

  • Provides administrative support for the Managing Director and other Director Level members of the executive team.
  • Manages both simple and complex calendars and scheduling logistics.
  • Arranges board meetings; may take meeting minutes as needed.
  • Organizes group events and meetings both on and off-site.
  • Has responsibility for planning, budgeting, and logistics of meeting coordination.
  • Processes expense reports and works with finance for budget reconciliations.
  • Schedules travel arrangements for executives and other travelers.
  • Creates correspondences including complex and sensitive emails, letters, memos and reports.
  • Communicates effectively with the team, other staff, and board members.
  • Communicates sensitive or confidential information appropriately.
  • Provides event research and supporting key events (board dinners, conferences, etc.)
  • Organizes documentation and files electronically and physically, as needed.

 Experience And Qualifications

  • 2+ years Administrative Assistant experience supporting senior level executives.
  • Experience managing a complex travel schedule for distributed teams.
  • 4-year college degree in business or related field of study preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Must have demonstrated a high level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and within deadlines.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills & ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
